Bay Area Video Coalition

Through BAVC, artists and non-profit organizations have access to the nation's most advanced video and new media center. BAVC offers a wide range of training and support programs, including JobLink, Video Internships, and MediaLink. Other education programs include workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, and lectures.

BAVC also offers subsidized low-cost access to video and multimedia equipment. This provides a great opportunity for students to work in a professional setting; for example, students could finish post-production on a class project in a BAVC studio.

In addition to programs and access to technology, BAVC publishes a wealth of informative, useful resources for the independent media community. BAVC's Web site includes a thorough job listings section, updated daily, with media-related job and internship opportuities in the Bay Area.

And, as if all this weren't enough, full-time multimedia and video, and film employees can take BAVC classes for FREE through the Employment Training Panel (ETP), a California State program that provides training dollars for full-time employees in the multimedia, video and film industries.
