Sharon Oldham and Ralph Manak of BaySCAN recently visited the Digital Safari at Mt. Diablo High School in Concord. In this multimedia academy, teachers Ted Maddock and Randy Depew work with 11th and 12th grade students to produce some astounding projects. For just one example of a student project, visit the Web site.

While we were impressed with the quality of the students' work, we were even more impressed with the students themselves. The students were personable and articulate, and many of our interactions were initiated by the students themselves. Kudos to Ted and Randy for all the progress they've made in developing a program that's provides such a positive educational experience for the diverse group of students they serve.

Ted and Randy are very interested in sharing their work, and in learning from others. You can contact Ted at .
