Developing the Workforce for Information Technology in the Bay Area

What we can do today
  • Recognize the work that has been done

  • Absorb the data provided and identify best known practices -- there is no need to start from scratch

  • Identify how to collectively move forward with action and keen focus -- we all have a role

  • Keep in mind that curriculum and teaching methods need to be aligned with core workforce requirements -- keep customers in mind

  • Remember that training needs are becoming highly focused, short-term and subject to change -- today is just the beginning of developing an ongoing never ending process of implementation and improvement
