With a total industry employment level in the Bay Area of approximately 125,000, Financial Services is a large and established sector of the regional economy. The Financial Services industry offers many promising and diverse career opportunities for students. The industry cluster includes depository and non-depository institutions (such as banks and lending organizations), security and commodity brokers, holding and other investment offices, and insurance organizations.

The Financial Service Learning Collaborative has convened a powerful partnership of high-profile industry participants, schools and partner organizations to offer students learning opportunities that explore the world of Financial Services.
