Dear Educators and Mental Health Professionals,

EastBay Learns --- the School to Career Partnership of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties based at Alameda and Contra Costa County Offices of Education--- and members of the Alameda and Contra Costa Counties Mental Health Professional Organizations invite local mental health professionals AND local educators involved in high school Health & Human Services Career Academies/Pathways/Programs as well as educators interested in possibly starting a Health and Human Services Academy/Program which includes a strong mental health careers strand to a special Mental Health Careers Site Visit, Student Internship Panel, and Mental Health Careers Dinner & Dialogue on March 18th.

Park on streets surrounding school) (see Yahoo maps, etc. for good directions, depending on your departure point. Oakland Tech is in North Oakland, between 42nd & 45th Streets and near where Broadway intersects with College Avenue.)

4:00 6:00 p.m. Mental Health Careers Dinner & Dialogue:

Developing a Human Services Academy; Developing Mental Health Careers Partnerships & Implementing Activities

Includes: refreshments, light supper/heavy hors doeuvres and materials.

Registration Fee: NONE. This Mental Health Careers Site Visit and Dinner & Dialogue is generously sponsored by a grant from a CSUHayward Allied Health Careers Pathways Initiative and EASTBAY Learns.
